Mrs. Carrie E. Bell, 75, of 1106 Mercer Road, died at 12:15 Friday in the Franklin Regional Medical Center. She was born Nov. 8, 1909 in Franklin, daughter of Hayes "William" and Kathryn Augusta "Kate" Ladds Johnson.

She attended school her, served on the Frenchcreek township election board, was a member of Uniontown Heights Sunday School, serving as treasurer for the church for many years, was a Sunday School teacher, a member of Uniontown Heights Ladies Aid Society, the Uniontown Heights Community League, American Association of Retired Persons, and the Minnie Rebekah Lodge 144.

She married Rollo W. Bell on Dec. 24, 1930, and he survives, with three daughters, Mrs. Wallace D. (Patricia) Smith, Mrs. Robert R. (Esther) Green, both of Franklin, and Mrs. Robert E. (Barbara) Jordan of Kennerdell RD1; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. An infant son, Rollo William Bell II, a brother, John William Johnson, and a sister, Mrs. Carl (Grace Louise) Donaldson, are deceased.

Services will be at Huff Chapel with Rev. Virgil Gricks, pastor of the Uniontown Heights Sunday School, and Rev. John Scott of Grove City officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
