Pauline Mae Highberg, 78, of Waco, passed away, Wednesday, October 8, 2014, in a local hospital. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 11, 2014, in Restland Cemetery, in Gatesville, with A.C. Painter officiating.

Pauline was born in Gatesville, Texas, to the late Willie Oliver Painter and Ruby Mae States Painter.

She was preceded in death by her son, James Myrth Highberg Jr.; sister, Nancy Jackson; and brother, Floyd Painter.

Survivors include her daughter, Debra Lynn Brooks; grandchildren, Reggie Brooks and wife, Stephanie, Jerry Brooks and wife, Chelsea, Jessie Brooks, and Jamie Goodwin and husband, Jeffrey; six great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
