William A. Lane, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Lane, former Covina residents, died Tuesday morning, July 28, at a Los Angeles hospital, at the age of 30 years, his death being the result of old injuries recieved in a Los Angeles traffic accident early in 1934.
He had been in serious condition in the hospital for more than two months. For mor than a year he has been under treatment at a hospital for skull fractures. He was able to return to his work as a pharmacist for short intervals in Baldwin Park.
Funeral services will be held from the Christianson and Moore chapel today at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Leland Brubaker in charge.
The deceased recieved his education in Los Angeles city schools, later taking a course in Pharmacy. For about 10 years he made his home in Covina where he had many friends. Besides his parents, who now reside in Los Angeles, he leaves one sister, Miss Frances Lane, also of Los Angeles.
