Age 86, of Minnetonka, was with her family when she passed away peacefully. Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Wendell; parents, Esther (Hoard) and Roy Newell; sister, Aleta Herbrandson; and brothers, Robert and Loren. Bonnie Rae taught school with her mother in a 2-room schoolhouse in rural South Dakota before becoming a homemaker. She later worked in retail for many years before retiring in Minnetonka, MN. Bonnie Rae will be remembered for her love of animals, whether they be chipmonks, cats, dogs or her beloved pony Buster. She filled her home with love and life, plants and flowers, photos of her family and friends. She was an awarded photographer and also talented with needle and thread.
