Faye Rose, 92, of Euless peacefully entered into heaven's gates on Monday, Oct. 6, 2014. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Thursday in Veterans Garden II of Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: Friends are invited for a time of visitation with the family 11 a.m. to service time Thursday in the Cherry Drawing Room at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville. Faye was born June 24, 1922, in Princeton to Marvin Bishop and Lillie Cox Rainwater. She taught fourth grade at Stonegate Elementary School in Bedford until her retirement. Faye was an active member of Airport Freeway Church of Christ for many years. Faye married Perry Rose and they had three children, Beverly, Don and Marilyn. Faye and Perry loved to travel and for 10 years they traveled all across the States in their motor home. Married for 65 years, Faye and Perry were the best of friends and were strong Christian people. Mrs. Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Perry; her parents; brother, Glen Wilson Rainwater; and sister, Roma Kellen Rainwater. Survivors: Mrs. Rose is survived by her children, Beverly and husband, Terry Brown, Don Rose and Marilyn, and Floyd Andrews; her sister, Sarah and Floyd "Cap" Lee; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three nieces.
