A native of Wake County, Randy was born February 1, 1935, the son of Burley Randolph Evans and Alma Nordan Evans. He was retired from Carolina Coach Co. after 47 years of service. Randy was a wonderful neighbor and would frequently share his famous barbeque chicken. He enjoyed hunting and adored his beloved dog "Spot" but his greatest love was his family, particularly his grandchildren.
Randy is survived by his daughter, Sandra Ballinger of Clayton; grandsons, Randall and wife Tasha Williams, Travis Williams and Daniel Ballinger; great grandchildren, Natalie and Nathan Williams and Gabriel Ballinger. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Carla Sue Evans; daughter, Paula Evans and step-son, Jerry Massengill.
The family wishes to thank the staff and caregivers of Cary Health Care and Rehab for the loving care and devotion they provided to "Mr. Burley".
