Cody Duncan, 24, of 107 Cutoff, Greeneville, passed away Saturday at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.

He was a substation technician with the Greeneville Light & Power System.

Cody was a member of Liberty Free Will Baptist Church.

He was a member of Ducks Unlimited, Bassmaster club, and enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing and sports.

Survivors include his parents: Bo and Cindy Duncan; and his brother: Landon Duncan, all of Greeneville; his grandparents: Carl and Gaye Duncan of Afton; his uncle and aunts: Doug and Cathy Duncan, Teresa Farmer and Karen Reaves, all of Greeneville, and Sheila Freshour of Illinois; his cousins: Brandy Hambrick, Davin A. Farmer, Michelle Reaves, Lindsey McCaslin and Claire Idell; a special friend: William Davis; and his pet dog: Toby.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ted and Wanda Freshour and great-grandparents: Mode and Pearl Jennings.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 and 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. John Buchanan will officiate.

Family and friends are asked to meet at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home to go in procession to Liberty Cemetery for a 2 p.m. committal service.

Pallbearers will be Cline A. Everhart, Eric Idell, Patrick Johnston, Ryan Duncan, Alex Arwood, Lance Bailey, Terry Pruitt and Robert Keller.
