Services were held in the First Baptist Church at Wardell Monday afternoon for Mary Jane Canoy, who died at Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital Saturday, July 22. The Rev. Elven Hensley and Rev. Bert Craig officiated and burial was in Wardell Memorial Cemetery with Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home service.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Canoy of Wardell, she was born at Hayti on May 10 and was aged two months and 12 days. In addition to her parents she is survived by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John L. Willoughby, Eual Canoy and Mrs. Betty Brent, all of Wardell.
