Brittany L. Walker, 26, passed away Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014, in Bartow. After fighting a long battle with leukemia, Brittany took her last breath surrounded by her friends and family.

Brittany was born Dec. 19, 1987, in Yuma, Ariz., and was a longtime resident of Frostproof.

She was a trial clerk for the Polk County Clerk of Courts and a member of New Harvest Worship Center in Lake Wales.

Brittany was a 2006 graduate of Frostproof High School, where she was also President of the Frostproof Chapter of FFA. After high school, Brittany went on to graduate from Polk State College.

Brittany was always a giving and caring person, and no one could question her focus on making a difference in the lives she touched. She was a loving mother to Mollie and Averie, and the beloved wife of Justin Walker. God blessed her with an amazingly rich life.

Visitation is 2-3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014, at the First Baptist Church, 338 E. Central Ave., Lake Wales.

Funeral service is 3 p.m. in the church sanctuary.

Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
