Jeanette Womack Morris of Buchanan passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014 in a Pell City, Alabama health facility. She was born in Polk County, October 26, 1924, daughter of the late Eugene Womack and Jennie Blackmon Womack. Mrs. Morris was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and a retired employee of the Arrow Company.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Walter Morris, Sr.; a son, James ‘Jimmy’ Walter Morris, Jr.; a sister, Lucille
Miller and brother, Larry Womack.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.
Services will be Saturday, October 11 at 2:00 PM from the Fellowship Baptist Church with Reverend Merle Barron and Reverend Gerald McPherson officiating. Music will be furnished by the church choir. Interment will follow in Fellowship Church Cemetery with Reverend Kevin Owens officiating.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John and Donna Morris of Pell City, AL; sisters, Velma Lockridge, Bremen, Robbie Gann of Palm Harbor, FL; brothers, James Hoyt Womack of Milledgeville,, Guy and Virginia Womack, Florence, South Carolina;(6) grandchildren,fifteen great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
