Obituary for Pauline Hance Bean
Pauline Hance Bean, 71, of Tompkinsville, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at her home after an illness.

She was born February 4, 1943 in Jackson County, TN to the late Alexander Hance and Lucy Ann Hudson Hance. She was a retired machine operator for Reliance Electric and a member of Athens Missionary Baptist Church. She was united in marriage on November 28, 1959 to Billie Joe Bean who preceded her in death on April 1, 2011.

She is survived by four daughters: Cheri Arnett and husband Larry, Pamela Murray and husband Nathaniel all of Tompkinsville, Teresa O’Farrell and husband Thomas of Groton, Conn., Amy Thompson and husband Jeffrey of Columbus, IN,
twin sister: Willine Deckard of Tompkinsville, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers: Noble, Ralph and Jerald Hance and two sisters: Bennie Sue Dickens and Tempie Crabtree Anderson.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Beautiful Home Cemetery. Funeral services

Visitation will be after 4:00 PM on Friday and after 7:30 AM on Saturday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, Athens Baptist Church or Beautiful Home Cemetery.
