Glen Ellis Rogers went home to be with his Lord on October 4, 2014, in Culver, OR. He was 81 years young. From his birth on September 26, 1933, to his death on Saturday, Glen shared his faith, humor, and work ethic with all those around him.

Born to Glen William and Minnie Rogers in Ashland, KY, he moved to Calif., and worked his way up from a determined young house painter to general manager and owner of Sonessa Painting before making his home in Culver.

Glen was a member of Culver Christian Church and loved spending time with his family and working in his shop and on his farm.

He is survived by his loving wife Judy Gallagher-Rogers; children, Kimberlie Wydeveld (Mitchel), Jeri Ann Rufener (Louis Fifield), Scott Gallagher (Janette), Patrick Gallagher (Jan Sprenger); and Diana Holding (Brent); grandchildren, Lyndsie Nestor (Rob), Ryan Wydeveld, Colby Wydeveld, Daniel Gallagher (Alyssa), Ryan Rufener (Minna), Jason Gallagher (Bianca Macias), Kellie Gallagher, Amy Evans (Clark), John Gallagher (wife Ally), Kellie Andrascik, Kristi Andrascik and Derek Andrascik; and great-grandchildren, Kyle Nestor and Dezirae Gallagher.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, and his grandson Kellen Wydeveld.

Funeral services will be held at Culver Christian Church, 501 Fourth Ave. Culver, on Friday, October 10, at 11 a.m. with a graveside ceremony immediately following at Mount Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery.

A luncheon is planned at Culver Christian Church after the services. Donations and flowers can be sent to Culver Christian Church at the address above or PO Box 87, Culver, OR 97734.
