Shirley Marie DeMaire, 52, 1417 E. Locust, Olney, died 1:30 a.m. today, Jan. 5, 1987, in her home.
Services will be in Friskel Funeral Home in Frontenac, Kan. Visitation will be in Summers Funeral Home and again from 6-9 p.m. Thursday in the FriskelFuneral Home. Burial will be Rose Bank Cemetery in Mulberry, Kan.
Mrs. DeMaire was born Aug. 22, 1934, in Mulberry, the daughter of Glen and Edith (Akins) Radford. She married Eddie Francis DeMaire, Sr. in Mindenmines, Mo. Sept. 13, 1952.
She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Mulberry. She was a retired clerk.
Survivors include her husband Eddie; 2 sons, Eddie Francis DeMaire, Jr., Richmond, Va.; Glen Roy DeMaire, Olney; a daughter, Debra Marie Jones, Blythe, Calif.; a brother, Bill Radford, Moline; 9 sisters, Lepha Allen, Reba Stwally, Jean Sumpter, Donna Alexander, all of Pittsburg, Kan.; June Hamilton, Frontenac, Kan.; Mary Wyatt, Olney; Mae Gottwalt, East Moline; Lois Napier, Mulberry; Evelyn Gentile, Ozark, Mo.; her mother Edith Akins Radford, Pittsburg; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother.
