Ann Mary Huyck was born July 15, 1924 in Goetzville, Michigan to Albert and Jawiga (Krol) Firack. Ann grew up in Goetzville. She married Lyle Smith and they had three children who were very young when Lyle died in an accident.

On April 17, 1954, she married Frank H. Huyck. They had two children and were married for 50 years when Frank died in 2004. Frank and Ann had spent eighteen winters in Punta Gorda, Florida, and Ann continued making the trip for a couple more years.
Ann was a member of the Pickford Presbyterian Church.
Ann loved to cook and her food was wonderful. Favorites of her family and friends were her apple pie and sticky buns. Guests never left Ann’s home hungry! Ann also enjoyed gardening. Her home was always spotless and she repainted rooms in her home often to keep everything looking perfect.

Ann is survived by two daughters, one son and nine grandchildren plus many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister.
Ann was preceded in death by her first husband, Lyle Smith; her second husband, Frank Huyck; two sons, Larry Smith and Robert Smith; sister, Catherine Burns; and brothers, John, Ted, Henry, and Lawrence Firack.
Ann Mary Huyck passed away on October 6, 2014 in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, she was 90 years of age.
