John Clarence Hart 82 of Aurora, Colorado formerly of Sidney, Nebraska died Saturday morning October 4, 2014 in Aurora Colorado.

John was born on December 16, 1931 to Jacob and Elizabeth (Deines) Hart on a farm in Briggsdale, Colorado. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1950 to 1954 during the Korean War.

He married Verna (Brehm), his wife of 58 years, in 1955 at Minatare, Nebraska. After coming home from serving in the Navy, John worked as a roofer for several years in Sidney, Nebraska until he moved to Aurora, Colorado in 1966. Then he worked for the Rocky Mt. Arsenal until his retirement in 1987.

John was a loving husband, proud father, and very much beloved by all of his grandchildren. He enjoyed time spent with family, working on cars and keeping up his yard and home. John will be missed in this world by all who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Lee, Barbara, and Marian, and his infant triplet grandsons and his infant angel grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Holechek Funeral Home in Sidney. Burial followed at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Lodgepole, NE.
