Wallace "Tacy" Wright, 83, of Saco, passed away early Monday morning on August 25, 2014, at his residence.

He was born in Canonsburg, PA., on May 12, 1931, a son of John and Laura (Barringer) Wright.

Wallace was educated from Pennsylvania schools and moved to Saco in 1949. He married his wife Jeannine on October 4, 1952. He served his country in the United States Army.

Wallace started working at Saco Electric in the Apprentice Program and was employed there for 18 years, receiving his Journey's License and Master's License.

He was a partner with G&W Electrical, retiring in 1999.

He was an accomplished woodworker.

Mr. Wright was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Church.

He was predeceased by 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

He is survived by his wife Jeannine (Grenier) Wright of Saco. Two daughters – Norma J. Wright of Saco and Cheryl B. Wright of Connecticut. One sister in law – Laurie Fenderson. Several nieces and nephews

Visiting Hours will be 4-7PM Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at Cote Funeral Home, 87 James Street, Saco. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at Most Holy Trinity Church, Good Shepherd Parish, in Saco. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Biddeford.
