Funeral services for Mr. Jack Pratt Fowler, age 81, are scheduled for 11 AM on Wednesday October 8, 2014 in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Beecham officiating. Mr. Fowler passed away Monday October 6, 2014 in Jackson, TN. He was born June 25, 1933 in Henderson County to the late Herschel and Owida Hazel Pratt Fowler. Mr. Jack held the position of Sheriff of Henderson County for 14 years. He also held other jobs in local law enforcement. Jack was a member of First Pentecostal Church of Lexington, and enjoyed fishing, riding horses, attending baseball games, and mule rides. Mr. Fowler was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Joe Fowler, sister, Ruth Overman, and nephew, Nicky Fowler. Survivors include three special people in his life; Shelia Smith, Branson Smith (Sammi and their son Rylan Lane Smith) and Brennon Smith. Survivors also include his son, Paul Fowler (Amy), brother, Sonny Fowler (Dianne), sisters; Mildred Martindale and Virginia Kirby, three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
