LOGAN - July 21 - Samuel Hardy, 84, one of Harrison county's oldest settlers, died here at noon Friday. He had lived in the county for 81 years.
Hardy's father was the third judge in Harrison County. Samuel served as bailiff in the district court here for twelve years. He was retired a few years ago. Since that time he has been living at the home of his daughter, Mrs. C. N. Carson, Logan.
He was well known to members of the state bar association.
No funeral arrangements have been made.
