George Satterfield, age 62 of 703 McBryant Road, Pitts passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 435 Pleasant Hill Road in Vienna. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday October 8, 2014 in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home. Reverend Jody McGinnis and Reverend Quillian Barfield will officiate. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. – 2. P.m. in the Chapel before the service. Interment will be in the family plot in the New Bethel Cemetery in Pitts.
Mr. Satterfield was born on October 27, 1951 in Vienna, Georgia. He was son of the late Hubert Satterfield and Annie Gibbs Satterfield. He lived his entire life in Wilcox County. He enjoyed his work and family.
Prelude and postlude will be played by Rhonda Henderson . Chris Sercer will sing “Stroll Over Heaven”, “Go Rest High On That Mountain” and “Amazing Grace”.
