Anita M. Hodges 81, of Russiaville passed away at 4:00 am on Monday, October 6, 2014 at her home. She was born on January 23, 1933 in Kokomo to Ralph and Louise (Wilson) Bowley. On September 5, 1970 Anita married Mearl E. Hodges and he survives.

Anita worked for Delco Electronics for 25 years until she retired. She was a member of Local UAW #292 and was a member of the Euchre Club.

Survivors include her husband Mearl E. Hodges of ; two daughters Vickie L. Edwards , Jennifer E. Martin of ; five grandchildren Kassie Stone, James Edwards, Jordan Martin, Jacob Martin, Chantz Hulet; great grandchildren Austin Edwards, Alison Edwards; great great grandchild Tristin Watson; brother Don (Pat) Bowley ; sister Marcia Santoyo .

She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Louise Bowley; three sons Stevie, Randall, Michael Poynter; five brothers Jim Bowley, Bob Bowley, John Bowley, Larry Bowley, Max Bowley; sister Judy Buffum.

Funeral services will be at 11 am on Friday, October 10, 2014 at Stout & Son Funeral Home 200 E. Main St. Russiaville with Pastor Greg Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greentown.
