Angela Lynn Bridgewater, 27 of 231 East Second Street, Versailles, died at 2:40 p.m. Friday, September 8, 1989, as a result of injuries received in an auto accident near Versailles. Miss Bridgewater was born on May , 1962 in Quincy, a daughter of Charles Wayne and Frances Kay Koch Bridgewater.

Miss Bridgewater attended Versailles Grade School, graduated from Brown County High School, and attended Gem City College.

She worked as a secretary for the Bader Agri-Service of Meredosia and was a member of Versailles Christian Church.

Survivores include her parents who live in Rushville; one brother Bryan Bridgewater, who serves with the U.S. military and is ststioned in Germany; a nephew, Christian Bridgewater; her paternal grandfather, Charles Bridgewater of Versailles; her maternal grandparents, Francis and Geraldean Koch of Versailles; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Bridgewater, who died August 5, 1985. Services were conducted at 2p.m. Tuesday,September 12, 1989,by the Rev. Tom Ross in the Versailles Christian Church. Organist and vocalist was Kathy Jo Young.

Pallbearers were Larry Quinn, Gerald McHatton, David McHatton, Jeff Parn, Dearald McHatton, and Bill Koch. Burial was in the Versailles West Side Cemetery on the family lot.

Hendricker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
