Sharon Kay (Hale) Trout, 73, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, Oct. 6, 2014. She passed away peacefully in her home.

Sharon was born April 14, 1941, in Bellevue, to V. Eugene and Catherine (Conley) Hale.

Sharon graduated from Sandusky High School in 1959. She was married March 20, 1960, to Richard E. Trout. Sharon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Primetimers and active in the Christian Women's Fellowship in Sandusky. Sharon loved spending time with her family, friends and fellow church members. She greeted everyone with a great smile and friendliness as if they had been friends of her for years.

Some of her favorite hobbies included playing piano and listening to music. She also took great delight and enjoyed photographing all things in nature, such as sunsets, trees changing color in the fall, butterflies, birds and other wildlife. Sharon enjoyed all the pets she owned through the years, especially her latest "baby," her Dachshund, Honey Bun. Sharon will truly be missed by all those that were touched by her kind spirit.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Richard Trout; children, Scott (Donna) Trout of Leland, Miss., Brian Trout of Vacaville, Calif., Lori Trout of Upper Sandusky, and Joel (Suzanne) Trout of Perkins Township; six grandchildren, Michael (Wendy), Jason, Maria, Abigail, Joshua and Emily; three great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Matthew and Megan; sister, Holly Coyne of Willoughby Hills, Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
