Luisa/Louisa Elizabeth Reynolds was daughter of Robert Mitchell Reynolds, CSA Veteran (wounded) and Mary E. Fields. Luisa m. 1) c. 1860, Benjamin M. Alexander, CSA who was wounded Apr 1864 in VA in War Between The States and d. May 1864 in SC, when sons were young. Luisa m. 2) c. 1870 Charles F. McCaskill. Luisa and Benjamin's oldest son Charles Mitchell Alexander was raised by his father's Aunt, Mary Ann Myriam Alexander and her husband Thomas Holland. Mary Ann and Thomas did not have any children. Luisa's youngest son, J. Benjamin Alexander stayed with her and her 2nd husband, Charles F. McCaskill (m. c. 1870). The 1880 Census shows that Luisa/Louisa and Charles also had an adopted daughter, Sarah Doyety (spelling ?), but no one knows what happened to her after 1880 Census. None of them are found on 1870 Census.

Two twin infant grandsons of Luisa and Benjamin M. Alexander are buried near her in Salem Southern Methodist Cemetery. They were born 7 May 1894 and died 11 May 1894. They were sons of her oldest son Charles Mitchell Alexander and Martha Jane Crosswell.
