Beulah Owens, age 89 of Deer Lodge passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014, after a lengthy illness.


She was born in Deer Lodge, on February 25, 1925, to the late John and Tennessee Hall Anderson.


She was also preceded in death by her husband Curtis and Daughter Phyllis Owens, Grandson Eric Len Jones, Brothers Lindsey and Henry Anderson, Sisters Molly Anderson, Mable Jones, Edith Smith, and Inez Summers.


She is survived by daughters, Sons, Grandchildren 20 Great-Grandchildren


She was a loving Mother and thoroughly enjoyed her grandchildren.


She was Baptized into the Christian Faith in 2006 and was the last descendant of her generation of the Anderson and Owens Families.


She was a walking local history book and contributed so much of that knowledge to the Deer Lodge Historical Book projects.


One of her specialties was making red crepe paper roses.


She had attended every July 4th parade for the past 45 years.


She was a lifetime member of The Ladies Auxiliary Post 5116 and considered it an honor to place flags on our Veteran's graves for the past 40 years.


In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Flag Fund to the American Legion in Wartburg.


The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 9, 2014, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg.


Funeral Services will follow.


A graveside service will be held Friday, October 10, 2014, at 11:00 AM in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Deer Lodge with Grandsons serving as pallbearers.
