Ṭaráẓu’lláh Samandarí (1874 - September 2, 1968) was a Hand of the Cause appointed by Shoghi Effendi in 1951. He was the son of Samandar, an Apostle of Bahá’u’lláh.
Tarázu'lláh Samandarí was born in Qazvin, Iran. He was bought up in an illustrious family, with his father an Apostle of Bahá’u’lláh, and his grandmother being one of the women who accompanied Ṭáhirih. Tarazu'llah became one of the most distinguished calligraphers of Persia. As a youth he attained the presence of Baha'u'llah in 1891 and stayed in the Holy Land six months.
Mr. Samandari came to the Holy Land in late August, 1968, to attend the centenary commemoration of Baha'u'llah's arrival on those shores. Nearly 1000 souls attended his funeral joining the funeral cortage from the Master's House where the service was held to the Baha'i cemetery at the foot of Mt Carmel. The funeral was one of the largest and most impressive since the time of the Master. He rests beside the heroic and immortal Haji Mirza Haydar 'Ali in fulfilment of a wish he had often expressed.
