Matthew Patten Official record of a ballot by the House of Representatives dated jan. 30, 1776; said Patten chosen Lieutenant Colonel, Col. Buck's (5th Lincoln Co.) Reg. of Mass, militia: appointment concurred in the Council Feb. 8, 1776.
Vol 11, page 1019, Mass. Soldiers and Sailors of the Revolutionary War.

At this time I have not found the burial location of Matthew's wife, Susannah Dunning, who died August 30, 1810 in Stetson, Maine.
