Sharon R. Watts, 73, of Terre Haute passed away February 18, 2014 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was born in Crawford County, IL on June 30, 1940 to James L. Stevenson and Naomi Melissa (Parker) Stevenson. Sharon was a homemaker, had worked at Sears as a warranty saleswoman and later worked at Peddle Park where she was a nutritionist. She is survived by her husband, Samuel Watts whom she married on November 16, 1958; her daughter and son-in-law Tawny Yvonne and Michael Christian; granddaughter Brittany Christian; a brother Ronald Stevenson and his wife Linda; and a sister Newana Shull and her husband Lee. She was a longtime and very active member of Union Christian Church, the Gideons Auxillary, and Bible Study Fellowship. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at DeBaun Springhill Chapel with her personal friend David Duncan giving the eulogy. Friends may call on Friday from 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will be private in Grandview Cemetery.
