Audrey Mae Otto, 87, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., passed away Monday, Jan. 30, 2012.

She was born on Aug. 14, 1924, in Loxley, Ala., to Jesse Andrew Henries and Gertrude Johnson Brigman. Mrs. Otto was a good Christian woman, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Most called her Miss Audrey, Mom or Grandma, and we were all blessed to have her in our lives. She was a long-time member of the Fort Walton Beach Church of Christ and most recently attended the Emerald Coast Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life, Samuel Karl Otto Sr. She leaves four children behind: Leo M. Otto Sr. and his wife, Deborah, of Mobile, Ala., Bonnie J. McIntosh and her husband, Craig, of Fort Walton Beach, Samuel K. Otto Jr. of Crestview, Fla., and Paul S. Otto Sr. and his wife, Rhonda, of DeFuniak Springs, Fla. She loved and cherished each of her children greatly. Grandma Otto had 10 grandchildren, Leo, Crystal, Michelle, Leesa, Spencer, Melissa, Jennifer, Karla, Samuel and Amber. She also had 15 great-grandchildren, whom she loved. Her family will miss her greatly.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. at Fort Walton Beach Church of Christ on Feb. 4. The memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Evangelist Cecil Belk of Emerald Coast Church of Christ will be officiating. A graveside service will follow immediately afterward at Beal Memorial Cemetery.
