Charles W. Foreman, 93, passed away at All Saints Hospital on Wednesday, June 6, 2007. He was born Kempster, Wisconsin on January 26, 1914, son of the late William and Hazel (Pheister) Foreman. Charles served in the army during WWII, and after discharge he relocated to Racine. On June 29, 1946 he was married to the former Esther F. Nedjelsky. Chuck retired in 1974 from the US Postal Service and was a member of the National Organization of Federal Employees. He enjoyed fishing for perch and salmon on our Lake Michigan shoreline. He was a long-time and faithful member of 1st Evangelical Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife of nearly 61 years, Esther Foreman; daughter Sandra Hahn; granddaughter, Heather (Tim) Kochanski; and his precious great granddaughter, Kiera all of Racine; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded by his son-in-law, David Hahn; brother and sister-in-law, Lowell and Betty Foreman; sisters and brothers-in-law, Allegra and Archie Turner, and Alice and Lowell Mishler. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday, June 11, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. John Roekle officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation in the funeral home will begin at 10:00 a.m. Memorials to 1st Evangelical Lutheran Church have been suggested.
