Anna Maxine Ardoin Sanders, 85, of Port Arthur, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2014 at Lake Arthur Place, Port Arthur, Texas.
She was born on December 16, 1928 as the baby in the family of six children to Anna Guillory Ardoin and Edmond Ardoin in Pine Prairie, Louisiana. Maxine has been a resident of Port Arthur since 1937.
She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1946 and Port Arthur Business College. She was a devoted mother, homemaker and a longtime member of Procter Baptist Church.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, her five siblings, her husband, Jesse T. Sanders and her son, Gary T. Sanders.
She is survived by her daughter, Tanya Simon and husband, Durwyn; her son, Jesse R. Sanders and wife, Judy; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
