Jane (Jennie) Adelaide Brown was the dau. of Charles Brown and Christina White. She was one of six children with many aunts, uncles and cousins in the area. She married Albert Ernest Cairns on June 28, 1893. To this union were born three children: Elsie Christina, John Arthur and Irene Millard. Jennie died in 1915 here in Athelstan at the age of 49 years.
