Gaffney, S.C. - Jerry Mitchell Trammell, 72, of 204 Rodgers Street, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2014 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, N.C.
Born in Shelby, N.C., he was the son of the late Garfield Trammell and Ethelene Blanton Trammell.
Mr. Trammell was a retired attorney practicing law in Shelby, N.C., was a U. S. Army veteran, and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving is a son, Carter Trammell and wife, Cathy, of Gaffney; a daughter, Lindsey Trammell of Oklahoma; a brother, Arthur Trammell and wife, Linda, of Port St. Lucy, Fl.; three grandchildren, Caitlin Trammell, Justin Trammell and Nick Trammell.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl Trammell and Roy Trammell.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
