Richard "Dick" Dalton, 80, of Bliss, died Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at the Desano Place Suites in Gooding.
He was born in Sandy City, Utah to Melvin Emmett and Edna Hyde Dalton.
He married Mollie Rae Baker on Jan. 27, 1950. She survives.
He is also survived by his sons, Matthew (Kari) Dalton of Island Park, Rex (Elaine) Dalton of Gooding and Barry (Dodi) Dalton of Shoshone; daughters, Sue (Mike) Madarieta of Boise, Sylvia (Kevin) Ellis of Richfield, Roberta (Craig) Thompson of Meridian and Nancy (Doug) Surerus of Carey; sisters, Margaret Taylor of Salt Lake City, Utah and Alice Kerr of Sun Lakes, Arizona; 33 grandchildren and and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Lyman and Lawrence Dalton and sister, Miriam Johansen.
