Lawrence A. "Larry" Wright, former president of Newport Rotary CLub, died Monday night at St. Luke Hospital. Mr. Wright, 64, lived at 215 S. Ft. Thomas Ave., Ft. Thomas. A veteran of World War I, he was a retired power sales engineer for the Union Light, Heat & Power Co. Surviving him are his widow, Hattie; a brother, James Wright, Sharonville, and a sister, Mrs. Edmund Pratt, Elkton, Md. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Dobbling Funeral Home, Ft. Thomas. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. He was a member of Newport Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons, who will conduct services at 8 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
