Shirley Ficken, 73, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2006.
Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Monday in Greenwood Chapel. Burial: 2 p.m. in D/FW National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Memorials: May be made to the American Cancer Society and American Heart Association.
Shirley was born June 5, 1932, in Kiowa, Colo.
Survivors: Husband of 54 years, Homer Ficken; sons, Mike Ficken and wife, Jennifer, of Wimberley, Scot Ficken and wife, Donna, of Burkburnett and Brett Ficken and wife, Patti, of Alexandria, Va.; grandchildren, Linda and Erick Ficken, both of Alexandria, Va.; brother, Harold DeSpain and wife, Irene, of Macon, Mo.; sister, Fran Anderson and husband, Andy, of Merriam Woods, Mo.; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; extended grandchildren, Jocelyn and Camile Hudson; and special friends.
