Elmer W. Boulware, 76, o Bloomington, died at 6:05 p.m. Monday (April 6, 1992) at BroMenn Regional Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 3, 1915, in Gridley Township, a son of Percy Allen and Hazel D. Printz Boulware.
He married Wilma Freed May 2, 1936, in Bloomington. She died May 2, 1985.
He then married Nadine Crawford Jan. 23, 1989, in Florida. She survives.
Other survivors include five sons, Gary Boulware, Clearwater, Fla.; E. Dale Boulware, , Normal; Kirk Boulware, Normal; James Boulware, R.R. 3, Bloomington; and Johnny Boulware, stationed in Norfolk, Va., with the U.S. Navy; four daughters, Nancy Grusy, Gridley; Sherry Farley, Mabank, Texas; Linda Boulware, Dallas, Texas; and Jeannie Church, Humansville, Mo.; one sister, Thelma Harper, ; 23 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two stepsons, Thomas E. Crawford, Bloomington, and Dennis D. Crawford, Normal
He was preceded in death by one son.
Mr. Boulware was a truck driver and was a member of Teamsters Local 26. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Society of Bald Eagles and American Legion Post 1150 in Downs.
He was an avid Cub fan.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy Seabees.
