Matt passed away in his home on Sept 8, 2014. He is survived by his mother, Pamela Castro. His father Robert John McKie, His sister and brother in law, Adrienne (Winkie) Frere and Ernest Frere and his grandmother Carole Castro. He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews, plus uncles, aunts and cousins. The family would like to thank Matt's lifelong caring friends and the staff at TLCS, Inc. They have all been a wonderful and tremendous help through the years. Matt's companion "Howie" his much adored cat. Howie brought much comfort to Matt during his life's struggles. At this time the family is planning a Memorial Service for a future date.The family requests that donations be made in Matt's behalf to the TLCSSAC.org., A non-profit service for emothional and mental treatment and rehabilitation.
