Edward D. Staley.... "Uncle Ed", as he was affectrionately called...died Dec. 11, 1918...He was seventy years old lacking about three months. He was a good, true citizen, a gentleman of the old school...he leaves...besides his wife, three
daughters and four sons, all married and in homes of their own. He left a nice, comfortable estate to his wife and children. (T.L. Belvin)
