Charlene Faye Edwards, 71, beloved wife and mother, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014, in Fort Worth with her family by her side. Graveside service: Her life will be celebrated at 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, in Emerald Hills Memorial Park, 500 Kennedale Sublett Road, Kennedale. Char was born Aug. 3, 1943, in McCaulley to Willie Wesley and Pansy Smith. She was the youngest of four children, two of whom preceded her in death. Char was a talented designer, artist and salon owner. Char was also a huge animal lover! She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her. She went to meet her Savior and is dancing with angels! The Edwards family would like to thank all of their family, friends for their love and support. A special thanks to Annie, Lupe, Rolinda and Paula. Survivors: Husband, Noel Edwards; sons, Noel Joe Edwards and Kenneth Scot Edwards; sister, Pat Ham of Lubbock; and nieces and nephews, Sharmai Ham, Michaela Hendley, Sharon Lee, Ronny Smith, Tim Smith and Mark Smith.
