CHARLES C. FURNISH, JR., 84, passed away Monday, Sept. 22, 2014 at the Saint Anne Home. He was the son of the late Charles C. and Gayle Furnish. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S. Airforce, a graduate of Purdue University and a retired Pharmacist with CVS Pharmacy. Surviving are his brother, Warren Furnish of Fort Wayne; his niece, Elizabeth Thomas Reaves of Baytown, Texas; and his nephew, John (Stefanie) Thomas of Baytown, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; as well as his sisters, Mary Furnish Thomas and Betty Furnish; and his brother, Thomas Furnish. Service is 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, 2014 in the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel. Preferred memorials to the Allen County SPCA and the Purdue University Center for Cancer Research.
