Lonnie was born June 3, 1918 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to Lonnie Espy and Maggie Love (Medlock) Burns.
Lonnie is preceded in death by parents, Lonnie and Maggie Burns; wife, Ruth Marie (Cooper) Burns and son in law, Charles Pugh.
Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home, 118 W. Oaklawn Road in Pleasanton on Thursday, October 9, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A funeral service will be given on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 10:00 am at Cowboy Fellowship, 561 FM 3350 in Jourdanton.
Interment will follow at Jourdanton City Cemetery.
