Mrs. Seltzer was born in Gainesville, on December 13, 1947. A graduate of Gainesville High School where she was an oboist in the school band. She earned her nursing degree, and began her career as a surgical nurse, working as an O. R. and an E. R. Nurse. She was most recently employed by Shands Healthcare at the Florida Surgical Center. Mrs. Seltzer was very active in Temple Shir Shalom, having many roles, including past president.
She is survived by two sons, Steven Seltzer, of Switzerland, and Andy Seltzer, of Gainesville; her father, Clarence Howard Magee; two sisters, Diana Jean Magee and Clara Darlene Magee; two granddaughters, Clara and Ruby Seltzer, all of Gainesville.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 2:00 P. M., at Temple Shir Shalom, with Rabbi Michael Joseph officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Central
