QUEENSBURY, N.Y. - Angeline "Angie" M. (Cifone) Catone, age 85, of Hicks Road, passed away on Wednesday, December 29th 2004 at the Fort Hudson Nursing Home in Fort Edward, N.Y.

She was born on October 2nd 1919 in Glens Falls, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Matteo and Antoinette (Esperti) Cifone, one of four children.

She married Diamond F. Catone on October 6th 1937 at the St. Mary's Church in Glens Falls, New York. Together they had four children; three sons and one daughter. He passed away on June 21st 1992.

Angie was employed at Peerless Shirt Co. in Glens Falls, N.Y. and later worked at Scott Paper Co. in Fort Edward, N.Y.

For 31 years, she worked at Central Market in Glens Falls, N.Y., which later became known as Price Chopper.

Angie enjoyed ceramics, knitting, going to bingo, cooking, and taking care of her family.

Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one brother; Patrick V. Cifone, and one son-in-law; Roger A. LaPoint.

Survivors include hfr sons: Pasquale J. "Patrick" Catone and -Matthew D. Catone of Queensbury Anthony Catone and her daughter, Antoinette M. LaPoint of Queensbury; ;

Arrangements by the Carleton Funeral Home Inc. on 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls, N.Y.

The Rite of Committal will follow at the Pine View Cemetery in the Town of Queensbury, N.Y.
