Mr. Osborne was a lifelong resident of Baldwin County. A real estate appraisor and a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Diane Carol Webb Osborne of Milledgeville, two sons, Mr. David Kent Osborne,Jr. and Mr. Charles Osborne both of North Carolina, his mother, Mrs. Evelyn Yarborough of Milledgeville, three sisters, Mrs. Diane Sanders and Mrs. Joan Weaver both of Milledgeville and Betty Davis of Chesterlin, Ohio, two brothers, Police Chief Charles A. Osborne, Jr. of Milledgeville and Mr. John A. Osborne of Blue Ridge, Ga. one half brother, Mr. Eugene Osborne of North Carolina. Several aunts and uncles survive.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday morning July 26, at 11 o'clock in Williams Memorial Chapel. Rev. John W. Layfield and Rev. Tyrone Hutchinson officiating. Interment in Westview Cemetery. Williams Memorial Chapel in charge.
