Mrs. Lugene B. Bailey, age 90, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Englewood Health Care Center in Monroeville, AL.

Mrs. Bailey was a native of Monroe County, AL and a lifelong resident of Frisco City, AL. She was a Board Member of the United States Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency, a member of the Monroe County Cattleman's Association, and a former Cattleman of the Year. She was a member of the Monroe County Rescue Squad, the Monroe County Museum Restoration Committee, the Frisco City United Methodist Church and an auction clerk for the Farmer's Co-op in Frisco City, AL.

Preceded in death by her husband, Henry Houston Bailey; her parents, Rennie U. Byrd and Macie Dawson Byrd; and a son, Richard Devon Bailey.

Survivors include: her son, Ronald Henry Bailey of Frisco City, AL; her daughter, Susie Bailey Byrd and husband, Jerrol of Frisco City, AL; two daughters-in-law, Ann Till Bailey of Frisco City, AL and Fairy Rose Bailey of Excel, AL; two brothers, Rennie C. Byrd and wife, Ella Wayne of Frisco City, AL and Donnie D. Byrd and wife, Bette of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; a sister, Betty Belcher of Natchitoches, LA; four grandchildren, Brian C. Byrd and wife, Wendy, Stephen R. Bailey, Andrew Ray Bailey and wife, Chasity and Trent Ronald Bailey; and ten great-grandchildren, Kaylee B. Blackmon and husband, Cole, Gracie Shae Byrd, Karianne Marie Byrd, Brodie Christopher Byrd, Zack Ferguson, Daniel Ferguson, Ansley Bailey, Abri Bailey, Sarah Ferguson and Raylynn Bailey.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Union Cemetery in Frisco City, AL with Rev. Randy Davis officiating.
