Steven Keith Burris, 57, of Jacksonport departed this life Friday, October 3, 2014. He was born August 20, 1957, to Leonard and Mary (Lovell) Burris in Newport, Arkansas.

He was an avid fisherman, hunter, Razorback fan and family man. He retired from the CR Fortune & White River Beverage Companies. He enjoyed being outside and delivering beer to his customers.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, his sister, Margaret (Sis) (Burris) Gravette Scudder, paternal grandparents, Clem Burris and Claudia (Moore) Burris and maternal grandparents, Charles and Myrtle (Fortune) Lovell.

He is survived by his son Steven Shane Burris (Heather) of Folkston GA & his mother Carolyn Flowers Tucker, by his daughters Whitney (Burris) Walker of Newport, & Rachel Burris of Jonesboro & their mother Pam (Bradley) Burris,
and by Mary (Holt) Burris and her children; Jimmy Phillips, Jeff Phillips, Cindy (Phillips) Brownfield, and Jennifer (Phillips) Blevins, by his brother; Richard Burris of Judsonia, & his sisters Sueanne (Burris) Pigg of North Little Rock & Kim (Gravette) Ruddell of Thida, AR, & by his grandchildren, Dylan, Brady, and Steven Layton Burris of Folkston, GA, Mercedes and Ollie Walker of Newport,
Jace and Naomi of Jonesboro, Kelsey, Kasey, Trey, Felicia, Jordan, Scott, and Baylee Phillips, Bryanna, Haley, and Caleb Brownfield, Adrian & Linsey Blevins. Numerous nieces and nephews that loved him very much.

Visitation will be at Dillinger Funeral Home in Newport, AR on Monday night October 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. The Funeral will be at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel on October 7, at 10 am. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Newport.
