FULLER, Edward Leroy

Edward Leroy Fuller, age 88, of Benjamin Hill Heights, Newfield, NY passed away Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the Cayuga Medical Center of Ithaca. Ed was born May 9, 1926 in Wallkill, NY the fourth son of the late Richard Roy Fuller and Hyla Josephine Edwards Fuller. He was graduated from Dryden High School in 1943 and entered the US Army in 1945. He was honorably discharged from active duty in 1947 and remained in the reserves until 1986. Ed was married to Dawn Kinsman on June 15, 1968. She passed away May 19, 2013. Ed was employed as a machinist with Emerson from 1950 until his retirement in 1988. He was an avid bowler and was proud to have worked with Junior Bowlers at various bowling lanes for over 25 years. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose for 55 years, joining in 1959. Ed enjoyed reading, regularly attending a health club and following sports on TV.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Katy Prince officiating. Burial will be private in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden. Friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 AM, Tuesday at the funeral home, 55 West Main Street, Dryden. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the American Cancer Society , 13 Beech St., Johnson City, NY 13790 or Cops, Kids & Toys, 836 Hanshaw Road, Ithaca, NY 14850.
