FUNERAL SERVICES HELD HERE FOR E. E. CHASE OF LOWELL. MASS.
Funeral services for Elmer E. Chase were held Sunday afternoon at 2 oclock at the Kingston and Morse chapel on Slate Avenue, with interment at Roxbury beside his first wife and daughter. The Rev. Myron E. Genter officiated, and the bearers were Merton Chase of Brookfield, Wayne Stewart of Berlin , Charles McCarty of Cabot and Earl, Harold and Donald Roberts of North-field.

Mr. Chase died February 3 at the Lowell Hospital in Lowell, Mass., where he had been a patient for three weeks. He had been in failing health for a year and a half. The body was brought to" Northfield Saturday.

The deceased was born in Middlesex January 11, 1863, the son of Simon and Alice Roberts Chase.

He was employed as a railroad brakeman and when a young man went to Lowell where he since resided. He was employed in a furniture store, where he wa3 an expert in framing pictures.

His wife, Helen, died about a year ago. The only near relatives are the following cousins, Earl Roberts of Northfield Falls, Merton Chase of Brookfield, Pliney Chase of Water-bury, E. 0. Culver of Roxbury, Mrs. Eliza Stewart of Berlin and George Roberts of Portland, Me.

Mr. Chase was a member of the lodge of Odd Fellows in Pcppcrell, Mass.
