Sharon I. Brewer, 62, of Littlestown, Pa., died Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, at home. Born Nov. 30, 1947, in Hanover, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Truman J. and Thelma I. Johnson Dayhoff. She was the wife of Earle H. Brewer, her husband of 42 years. She was a 1965 graduate of Francis Scott Key High School. She was a secretary to New Windsor Bank Corp. She was employed by the New Windsor State Bank of New Windsor as a CSR and IRA specialist and had more than 45 years with the bank, its longest employee service. She was a member of Linwood Brethren Church in Union Bridge. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are daughter Kelly Brewer Garber and husband Clark, of Littlestown; grandchildren Brady, Brennen and Madilyn Garber; friend of 57 years Becky Buffington, of Fairfield, Pa.; a sister, Nancy Cox, of Finksburg; brothers T. Gary Dayhoff, of Keymar, Larry Dayhoff, of Taneytown, W. Jerry Dayhoff, of New Windsor, and Roland Dayhoff, of Uniontown. She was predeceased by nieces Susan Cox Albaugh and Leigh-Ann Villareal; and a nephew, Joseph Dayhoff. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Linwood Brethren Church, 575 McKinstry's Mill Road, Union Bridge, with her nephew, the Rev. Chad Brewer, Campus Minister of the University of Minnesota, officiating.
