George Robert Brock, age 69, of Harriman, hauled his last load on October 2, 2014. Finishing his last mile with his wife of 42 years, Janice Wampler Brock by his side, "Bob", or "Bobby", unloaded his earthly burdens and headed home.

Bob was born in Roane County, Tennessee to the late James W. Brock & Jeanette Johnson Brock. He was of Baptist faith. He was also preceded in death by sons Jody B. Morris and Jeffery S. Morris; brother James David Brock and sister Sandra Brock Kimblin; and in-laws Mr. & Mrs. W.T. Wampler, Jr. of Harriman.

He is survived by son and daughter-in-law Jay & Camille Morris of Michigan; daughter Cynthia Heatherly of North Carolina, daughter & son-in-law Sonya & McKinsey Scott of North Carolina, daughter & son-in-law Jill Brock Ward and Trampus Ward of Harriman; grandchildren Jatayla Morris, Shawna Morris-Edgemon & husband Chris, Brittany Ward-Anders & husband Justin, Garett Ward, Alyssa Branson, Hannah Branson, Kelsey Branson, Brantley Diggs, Chapman Morris and Grace Morris; great grandchildren Bayla Beasley, Madison Edgemon, and Mason Carpenter; brother and sister-in-law Don & Sandy Brock; sister and brother-in-law Pat "Pasty" & Vaughn Humphrey and sister & brother-in-law Nancy & David Johnson, sisters-in-law Mary Jane Brock, Kathy Wilson, and Cheryl Cook with husband Don; and brothers-in-law Gene Kimblin, W.T. "Bill" Wampler III, Michael Wampler, Steven Wampler, James Wampler, Dennis Wampler & wife Teresa, Robin Wampler & wife Angie and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, October 4, at Kyker Funeral Home in Harriman from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with Funeral services at 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will begin at 11:00 am on Sunday, October 5. The family will meet at Kyker Funeral Home in Harriman at 10 am to go in procession to Roane Memorial Gardens.
